locomotive, initially as a software project manager, later asked to
take responsibility for the area of functional safety.
September 2022 – June 2024: ARRI AG, Munich, Germany
– Embedded software developer, DevOps engineer.
Responsible for design, enhancement and operation of the development infrastructure for around 200
engineers in software and FPGA development, testing and production.
- As integrator responsible for the "Mini LF" software releases, version 7.3 delivered successfully in october 2023.
- As integrator responsible for the "ALEXA 35" software releases, version 1.3.0 delivered successfully in july 2024.
- Created and documented a series of development scripts, continuously in use by almost all developers.
- Worked up and documented all integration steps in full detail, thereby reducing the training time for my successor to 2 hours.
September 2020 – September 2022: ARRI AG, Munich, Germany
– Embedded software developer.
Responsible for development and enhancement of software modules for a new generation of professional film
cameras, as well as for the maintenance of existing camera software releases.
- As integrator responsible for the "Mini LF SUP 7.0" software release, delivered successfully in Q2 2021.
- Development of a virtual web client to monitor the built-in web server.
- Development of a memory supervision process.
November 2017 – June 2020: Valeo peiker Telematics GmbH,
Friedrichsdorf, Germany – Technical Project Manager Software.
Responsible for telematics projects for various automobile manufacturers as software project manager leading a
global team with up to eight locations, three continents.
- Productive from day one; contributed to a successful RFQ resulting in a nomination
- Coordinated development between Germany and China to a successful SOP for a Chinese OEM
- Taken over an ailing project for a Japanese OEM, on explicit request by my customer
January 2011 – October 2017: Valeo Schalter und Sensoren GmbH,
Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany – Embedded Developer, Trainer, Coach, Project Manager Software.
Initially as developer, later also as software project leader, responsible for the software for switches' modules
for various German, French, Swedish and Chinese automobile companies.
Additionally, active on customer request as trainer for team members in all associated development centers.
- Created an ISO-26262 CPU self-test for multiple processor types in assembler
- Within 6 weeks productively taken over the assignments from a colleague who already left the company
- Taken over two parallel projects near SOP and developed to a successful production start
- Brought three projects to successful SOPs as software project manager
